The central schoolhouse hallway redesign for the Peddie School balances existing functions and creates a more welcoming and usable space. Students are now provided spaces for studying, respite, or collaboration in the carved-out nooks in the thick hallway walls. The hallway feels lighter and more inviting by screening existing utilities behind wood panels, while maintaining its core functions.
